AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TIC: ABANDONMENT BY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
THAT PORTION OF BOICE STREET BETWEEN NORTH.AND
SOUTH LOOKOUT STREETS IN,THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS,
WHEREAS, The petition was duly filed with the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on or about the
26th day of May, 1947, petitioning the City Council
to vacate and abandon all of that portion of Boice
Street between North and South Lookout Streets in
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas as shown by plat-of
Hillcrest Addition to said city; and,
WHEREAS, After due notice, published as required by law, the
Cit;v Council has, at the tiTne and place mentioned in
said notice, heard all persons desiring* to be heard on
the question.,-and has ascertained that that portion
of boice Street as herein above described, has hereto-
fore been dedicated to the public and used as a street,
but has not actually been used by the public as a
street for a period of over five (5) years, and that
all of the owners of the property abutting that por-
tion of Boice Street to be vacated have filed with
the City Council their written consent for the abandon-
ment of said portion of Boice Street, and that the
public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of said street as herein
described, NOW THET-EFORE,
BE I`I' ORDAINED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL Oh' THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
-ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas hereby
releases, vacates, and abandons all of its right, title and inter-
est, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to
that part of Boice Street situated between the North Lookout
Street and South Lookout Street in the City of Little Rock, as
shown by the plat of Hillcrest Addition heretofore filed with
the Circuit Clerk of Pulaski County.

SECTION
2.
A copy of
this ordinance,
certified by the
City
Clerk,
shall
be filed
in the office of
the Recorder of
Pulaski
County, and recorded in the Deed Records of said County.
SECTION 3.All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect fror . and after its passage and
approval.
