AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND
PURCHASE THREE MOTOR CYCLES FOR USE BY THE LITTLE
ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1, The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and
purchase three motor cycles, purchase price not to exceed
the sum of $2,500.00, for use by the Little Rock Police
Department.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public
health, peace, and safety of the citizens of the city of
Little Rock will be adversely affected, therefore, an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
