ORDINANCE NO 7351
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF THE ALLEY ABUTTING ON
LOTS ONE (1), TWO (2), THREE (3), FOUR (4), AND NINE (9),
TEN (10), ELEVEN (11) AND TWELVE (12), BLOCK EIGHT (8), INTER-
CITY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 7th day of July,
1947, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon a portion
of the alley designated on the plat of Block eight (8) of the
Intercity Addition to said City now appearing of record in
Plat Book two (2), page ninety -eight (98), in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, the portion being vacated being,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the alley
in Block eight (8), Intercity Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, with
the South line of West 33rd Street in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas and extending
along said alley in a southerly direction
for a distance of 200 feet, being that ortion
of said alley that abuts on lots One (1�,
Two (2), Three (3), Four (4), and Nine (9),
Ten (10), Eleven (11) and Twelve (12), Block
Eight (8), Intercity Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Council
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the portion of alley hereinbefore described, has heretofore
been dedicated to the Public use as an alley herein described;
has not been actually used by the public generally for a period
of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all the owners of the property abutting upon the portion
of the alley to be vacated have filed with the Council their
written consent to such abandonment; and that public interest
and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment
of such alley.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the
rights of public generally, in and to that portion of the alley

the City of Little Rock, Arkansas with the

SECTION 2. A copy of the Ordinance duly certified by
the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas and recorded in the deed records
of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
