AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF PART TIME
VENEREAL DISEASE CLINICIAN L FOR THE 1701IEN' S DE-
TENTION CENTER OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1, The position of part time venereal disease
0liniclan _' for the Women's Detention Center of the City of
Little Rock is hereby created. The person to fill this
position shall be chosen bt the Health Director and approved
by the Health Committee of the City Council, and shall re-
ceive a salary of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per month. Such
salary shall be paid from the funds of the Women's Detention
Center.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately the public
peace, health, and safety of the citizens of the City of
Little Rock will be adversely affected, therefore, an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
