REGULATING THE, BURNIIG OF TRASH AND OTH 7R
TMIATERIALS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND
FOR OTHEML PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T11�'' CITY COUNCIL OF THE; CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance 4967, passed
April 25, 1932, be and the same is hereb,- amended to read
as follows:
It shall be unlawful for any person or persons
to burn or cause to be burned out of doors any
hay, straw, shavinggs, paper, leaves, trash, or
any combustible material on any occupied lot with-
in the City of Little Rock, except in wire baskets
of not more than 1 inch mesh, rock, brick, or
metal incinerators with a proper cover. No in-
cinerator shall be located within 10 feet of any
building or combustible material.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the
provisions of this ordinance are put inb-o effect immediately,
the public peace, safety, and welfare of the citizens of
Little Rock will be adversely affected; therefore, an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
