AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FROI-T Tlh GENERAL
FUND OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK THE SUM OF
TlW HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) TO DEFRAY EX-
PENSES OF THE FIRE CHIEF TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL
CONVENTION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the City of Little Rock the surn of Two Hun-
dred Dollars ($200.00) to defray the expenses of the Little
Rock Fire Chief in attending the National Fire Chief's Con-
vention in New York City during the month of August, and the
proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the necessary instruments to carry out the provis-
ions of this ordinance.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the pro-
visions of this ordinance are put into effect immediately the
public peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Little
Rock will be adversely affected, therefore, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
