An Ordinance assessing the value of the Benefits to be
received by the owners of each of the several blocks, lots and
parcels of land within Sewer Improvement District No. 119.
WHEREAS, more than two- thirds (2/3rds) in value of the
property owners adjoining the locality to be affected and situa-
ted within Sewer improvement District To. 119, or Lanized for the
purpose of na Ling local improvements therein_, by building a
sanitary sewer system therein.
Such work to be done in such manner and with such mater-
ials as the commissioners may select, have petitioned the City
Council of Little mock for the construction of said improvements
and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real pro-
perty within said district and according to benefits received,
and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated within said district
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said i__rovenent, exclu-
sive of interest, is ,30,318.02,
T.H- ER.EFORE, It is Now Ordained by the City Council of
the Gity of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the said several lots and parcels of real
property in said Sewer Improvement District No. 119 be, and
they are hereby assessed according to the assessment list of said
District, as the same now remains in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Little Rock, and as the same may be annually
adjusted by the board of assessors, and that eight (8) per
centum of said assessment of the value of benefits to each of
said blocks, lots and parcels of land shall be paid on or before
the first day of i?ovel:fiber, 1947, and on op before the first day

of November of each and every year thereafter, until the whole
of said local assessment shall have been paid.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and part of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
