AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING AN ALLEY TWENTY
FEET WIDE FROM WEST TWENTY - SECOND STREET TO APLAATTTED
ALLEY PARALLEL TO THE CITY ASHER AVENUE IN
ROCK.

WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 11th day of August, 1947, ask-
ing the City Council to vacate and abandon an alley twenty feet wide
in Block 4, Remmelts Addition to the City of Little Rock, running
from West 32nd Street to a platted alley through the center of the
block parallel with Asher Avenue, designated on the plat of Remmel's
Addition to said City, now appearing of record in Plats Record Book
2 at page 184, in the office of the Circuit Clerk and Ex- officio Re-
corder for Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard,all persons de-
siring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley,
hereinbefore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public
use as an alley herein described; has not been actually used by the
public generally for a period of at least five years; that all the
owners of the property abutting upon the alley to be vacated have
filed with the Council their written consent to such abandonment;
and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected
by the abandonment of such alley.
NOW, THEREFORE be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its right, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
An alley twenty feet wide in Block 4, Remmel's
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
running from West Thirty- second Street to a platted
alley through the center of the block parallel with
Asher Avenue, and abutting Lots 1 through 3, inclusive,
on the west of said lots, and Lots 16 through 18, inclusi",
on the east of said lots, all in Block 4, Remmel's Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk shall be filed in the office of the County Recorder for Pulaski
County and recorded in the deed records of the county.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
