AN ORDINANCE AbMNNDING PARAGRAPH 2A, SECTION 31, ARTICLE 4
OF ORDINANCE 4866, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES-
EE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS-.
SECTION 1. That Section 31, Article 4, Paragraph 2-A be amended in
part to read as follows:
No buildings within the fire limits of frame construction
shall be hereafter increased in height or area.
SECTION 2. Ahereas, the creation of a satisfactory building code is
essential to the safety, health and well being of the citizens of Little
Rock, and, vrhereas, the decreasing of fire and building hazards is likewise
essential to the peace, security and well being of the citizens of Little
Rock, now, therefore., an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
