AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE EOUIPMEENT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
SECTION 1, The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author-
ized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
the following equipment for the benefit of the Little Rock
Fire Department:
71500 feet of 22 inch fire hose; 1,000 feet of 121 inch fire
hose, cost for both items not to exceed „15,200.00.
15 Salvage covers, cost not to exceed $72b.00.
Auto Repair Parts for Service Truck No. 3, cost not to exceed
$2,450.00.
Auto repair parts for pumper trucks, cost not to exceed y1,600.00.
2 Portable cutting- torches, cost not to exceed 4Y360.00.
2 Portable Floodlights, cost not to exceed $750.00.
14 Self- generating oxygen masks, cost not to exceed $2,100.00.
16 Type "N" :Gas Masks, cost not to exceed $650.00.
2 Geller -pipes and equipment, cost not to exceed x`1750.00.
Auto repair parts. and tools needed for emergency reserve, cost
not to exceed x;3,000.00.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con -
-flict herewith, -are herebv repealed, and this ordinance shall be
