AN ORDINANCE. AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS, AND PURCHASE ITEMS FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT
TO BE USED IN THE MkcARTHUR PARK CONSTRUCTION PROJECT, DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION L. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase the following
items and the money is hereby appropriated out of the Street Fund:
20440 barrels portland cement
550 feet of 12" plain concrete pipe
40 feet of 12" reinforced concrete pipe
328 feet of 15" plain concrete pipe
80 feet of 15" reinforced concrete pipe
75 feet of 24" reinforced concrete pipe
Equipment rental - daily rate
Rotortiller
Disc harrow
SECTION 2. Unless provisions of this ordinance are put in
effect immediately, the public peace, health, and safety of the citizens
of the City of Little Rock will be adversly affected. Therefore, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect immediately from and after its passage and approval*
