13626RESOLUTION NO. 13,626 2 3 TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A 4 CONTRACT WITH U.S. LAWNS, LITTLE ROCK, IN THE AMOUNT OF 5 $91,200, TO PROVIDE MOWING AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE 6 SERVICES AT THE OAKLAND & FRATERNAL HISTORIC 7 CEMETERY PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 WHEREAS, after the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park Board approved the bidding of needed lawn mowing and grounds maintenance services for the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park, a two -step Request for Proposals was issued, and WHEREAS, of the bids received, one from U.S. Lawns, Little Rock, was determined by the selection committee to be a responsive and responsible bidder, and WHEREAS, U.S. Lawns is ready and willing to perform the needed services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby awards a one -year contract, with the possibility of two (2), one (1) -year extensions, by mutual agreement, on the same terms, to U.S. Lawns, Little Rock, to provide lawn mowing and grounds maintenance services pursuant to Request for Proposals No. 12298 for a total contract amount not to exceed Ninety-One Thousand, Two Hundred Dollars ($91,200), and authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, for such services. Section 2. The funds for the contract are to come from the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park accounts. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju- dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and ef- fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this res- olution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
