AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 6531 BY CHANGING THE
JOB.CLASSIFICATION OF PERMIT INVESTIGATOR IN THE OFFICE OF
THE CITY ENGINEER; FIXING THE SALARY THEREFOR; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS
Section 1. Beginning January 1, 1948, the job
classification of Permit Investigator in the office of the
City Engineer, as created by Ordinance No. 6531, is hereby
changed to that of Building Inspector.
Section 2. The salary of Building Inspector in the
office of the City Engineer is hereby fixed at the sum of
$225.00 per month.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 6531 is hereby amended to
conform to the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances and /or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions
of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public
peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Little Rock will
be adversely affected, therefore an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
