AT THE.FAIR PARK GOLF- COURSE'TN;THE PARKS AND RECREATION
DEPARTtMT AND FOR OTHER .PUPPOSLS.
WgEREAS, the position of Clerk- Cashier at the Fair Park
Golf Course in the Parks and Reoreation Department is a responsible
hot6st, trustworthy person and,
WHEREAS, the present salary of $115.31 per month is not sufficient
to obtain the services of suet a person,
N01'TAEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That the salary of the position of Clerk- Cashier
at the Fair Park Golf Course be increased from $115.31 to $125.00

per month.
SECTION 2. All ordinances end parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this ordinance
are put into effect immediately, the public peace, health, and safety

therefore,,'an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordi
nanoe shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval, retroactive to January 1, 1948.
