AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT PART OF SECTION lA
OF ORDINANCE NO. 7444, PERTAINING TO PLUMBING AND GAS FITTINGS: AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That part of Section 1 A of Ordinance No. 7444
reading as follows:
"Plumbing and Gas Fittings . 0 . 0 .
Stock of plumbing equipment and supplies
additional stock tax."
is hereby amended to read:
Plumbing and Gas Fittings
Employing from 1 to 3 Mechanics $37.50
Employing from 4 to 7 Mechanics 75.00
Employing 8 or more mechanics 125.00
Stock of plumbing equipment and supplies
additional stock tax.
$75.00
Section 2. The City Collector of the City of Little Rock
is hereby authorized and directed to make the proper adjustments to any
person, firm or corporation whose tax has been paid, in order to make
such tax paid conform to the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed; and in order to protect the health and
safety of the citizens of the city of Little Rock an emergency is dec-
lared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in force from and after its
passage and approval,
