AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOAHD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS, AND PURCHASE ITET4iS FOR THE
STREET DEPARYVI NT TO BE USED IN THE MACARTHUR PARK CONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, DECLARING AN E %:ERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY Tli�; CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and
purchase the following items, and the money is hereby approp-
riated out of the Street Fund, cost not to exceed '14,000.00.
2,440 barrels of Portland cement
Equipment Rental - daily rate
Rotortiller
Disc Harrow
SECTION 2. Unless provisions of this ordinance are
put in effect immediately, the pullic peace, health, and safety
of the citizens of the City of Little Rock will be adversely
affected. Therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
