AN ORDINANCE CREATING SEVEN (7) ADDITIONAL
POSITIONS OF FIRST YEAR HOSEMEN IN THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. In addition to the personnel of the Fire
Department of the City of Little Rock as fixed by Ordinance
No. 7439, as amended by Ordinance No. 7486, there is here-
by cFeated seven (7) additional positions of First Year
Hosemen.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 7439, passed
October 27, 1947, as amended by Ordinance No. 7486, passed
December 29, 1947s is hereby amended to conform with the
provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. In order to protect the health and safety
of the citizens of the City of Little Rock, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
