AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 F OF ORDINANCE NO. 7373
OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PASSED ON
THE 18th DAY OF AUGUST, 1947, AND PERTAINING TO THE
ROUTING OF THE BUSES OF THE FIFTEENTH STRE:-'T LINE OF THE
CAPITAL TRANSPORTATION COMPANY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. From and after the effective date of this ordin-
ance., Section 1 F of Ordinance No. 7373, passed August 18, 1947,
shall read as follows:
F. The line known as the 15th Street line as follows:
Beginning at Markham and Main, South on Main to 15th
Street, West on 15th Street to Pulaski Street, South on
Pulaski Street to 16th Street, West on 16th Street to
Park Avenue, South on Park Avenue to Wright Avenue, East
on Wright Avenue to Summit Avenue, South on Summit Avenue
to 24th Street, East on 24th Street to Battery Street,
South on Battery Street to 29th Street, thence return to
k Riarkham and Main over the same route.
SECTION 2. The Capital Transportation Company shall instit-
ute this 15th Street route according to the terms and provisions
of this ordinance not later than the 7th day of June, 1948
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of
this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public peace,
health, and safety of the citizens of the City of Little Rock
will be adversely affected, therefore, an emergency is hereby de-
clared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
