AN ORDINANCE ORDERING THE REMOVAL AND RAZING OF SAID BUILD-
INGS, HOUSES, AND OTHER STRUCTURES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO TAKE SUCH ACTION AS IS
NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH THE RESULTS DESIRED BY THIS ORDIN-
ANCE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS,
In many parts of the City of Little Rock owners of real property have
allowed such property to become run down, delapidated, unsafe, unsight-
ly, dangerous, obnoxious and detrimental to the public welfare of the
citizens of the City of Little Rock, and
WHEREAS,
The condition of this property is a serious fire hazard and that un-
less immediate action is taken to remedy this situation there is a
great likelihood that the surrounding property will be destroyed by
fire originating in such unsafe and hazardous structures,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the owners of the following described property
be and they are hereby ordered.to remove or raze the buildings upon
said property within 30 days after the effective date of this ordinance.

SECTION 2. The City Attorney is hereby directed to institute such
legal proceedings against such persons as may be necessary in order to
enforce the provisions of this ordinance, and to remedy the dangerous
and unsightly conditions brought about as a result of the failure of
the owners to properly keep up said property.

SECTION 3. All persons, firms, corporations violating the pro-
visions of this ordinance shall upon conviction thereof be fined in any
sum not less than $25.00 nor more than $100.00.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and unless the provisions of this ordin-
ance are put into effect immediately, the public peace, health, and
safetyof the citizens of the City of Little Rockwill be adversely
affected, therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force aad effect from and after;- its pass-
age and approval.
