AN ORDINANCE AUT_- ORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE AIDS FOR, AND PURCHASE A POLICE
RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OT LITTLE ROCK, ARK-
ANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City of Little
Rock is hereb -7 authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for
and purchase a Police Radio Communication Syster for operation in
the Range 152 to 162 Megacycles to include:
One (1) 250 -1datt Land Station Transmitter with Associated
Receiver and Monitoring Equipment
Eighteen (18) Automobile Transmitter and Receiver Units
Ten (10) Motorcycle Receiver Units
The necessary parts and equipment incidental to the installa-
tion of the above equipment.
SECTION 2. The total cost of the above equipment shall not
exceed the sum of >18,000.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passa,ce and approval.
