AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO l -FDRED DOLLARS
($200.00) TO PAY THE TRAVEL EXPENSES OF THE SUCCESSFUL
APPLICANT FOR DIRECTOR 'OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
uVHEREAS ,
The City of Little Rock is now without a Planning Director of the City
Planning Commission and the Civil Service Commission is planning to
hold examinations of several applicants desiring to fill this position,
and
WHEREAS.,
The Civil Service Commission and the City Planning Commission jointly
desire to personally interview such applicant before he is certified
to such position in order to assert every effort to obtain a man of
suitable qualifications,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the general fund of
the City of Little Rock the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) to pay
the travel expenses of the applicant making the highest grade upon the
Civil Service Examination in order that he may travel to this City for
a personal interview by the Civil Service Commission and the City Plann-
ing Commission. Said sum shall cover the travel expenses of such
successful applicant from his home to Little Rock and return.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and thit ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
