AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE HOTEL SAM PECK TO ERECT A SIGN
FIFTEEN FEET SOUTH OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF CAPITOL AVENUE
AN!) BROADWAY STREET, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L = .-TTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. From and after the effective date of this ordinance
the Hotel Sam Peck is hereby authorized to erect a sign upon the side-
walk near the curb, fifteen feet, south of the southeast corner of
Capitol Avenue and Broadway Streets.
SECTION 2. The City Engineer of the City of Little Rock shall
supervise the erection of such sign, and it shall be erected in such
a manner so as not to be a hazard to traffic, whether vehicular or
pedestrian.
SECTION 3. The only thing that such sign shall contain is an
arrow and the name of the Hotel Sam Peck in order to provide a direct-
ion for the general public traveling upon Broadway Street to the said
hotel.
SECTI(AT 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
