AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTIYG THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PUR-
CHASE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR STREET LIGHTING CIRCUITS,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Doard of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase 8- 5,000
volt 60 ampere panel type oil switches for street lighting cir-
cuits, not to exceed the sum of $560.00.
SECTIOV 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of
this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public peace,
health, and safety of the citizens of Little Rock will be adverse-
ly affected; therefore, an emergency is herebtr declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
