ORDINANCE NO. 7954.
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE WIDTH OF PAVE< +'_El`!T ON
PIERCE STREET FROM THE NORTH PROPERTY LINE: OF
HIGHWAY NO. 10 (Q Street or Cantrell Road) TO
THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF KAVANAUGH BOULEVARD;
FIXING THE WIDTH OF PAVEMENT ON FILL'r:iORE STREET

EAST PROPERTY LINE OF PIERCE STREET TO THE INEST
PROPERTY LINE OF TAYLOR STREET.
V'V'HT%�EtiS, Pierce Street and Fillmore Street run north
and south for two blocks between Cantrell Road and 17�avanaugh
Boulevard, and other streets in the vicinity and paralleling
these streets have established pavement widths of 27 feet or
less, and it is desirable that this same width of 27 feet be
established as to the width of pavement for Pierce Street and
Fillmore Street; and
WhEREAS, "R" Street is a dead -end street, infrequently
used, and only some seven blocks in length running parallel to
Kavanaugh Boulevard and Highway Zoo. 10 or Cantrell Road, which
are two well - traveled streets, and there being; no necessity to
require a wide pavement on "R" Street, it is desirable that the
pavement on "R" Street between Pierce and Taylor Streets be estab-
lished at 24 feet; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the width of tl�e pavement on Pierce
Street from the north property line of Highway No. 10 (9, Street
or Cantrell Road) to the south line of Kavanaugh boulevard be
and tie same is hereby fixed and established at 27 feet.
SECTION 2. That the width of the pavement on Fillmore
Street from the north property line of Highway No. 10 ((4 Street
or Cantrell Road) to the south property line of Kavanaugh Boulevard
be and the same is hereby fixed and established at 27 feet.
SECTION 3. That the width of the pavement on "R" Street
from the east property line of Pierce Street to the Vest property

line of Taylor Street be and the same is hereby fixed and estab-
lished at 24 feet.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and that this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
