S71CTIOTT 1. That the territory annexed to the City of Little Rock
bar the Pulaski Count <r Court order on the 23rd da,%r of ay, 1949 being
pore fuller described as follows:

is hereby accepted, annexed to and nade a part of the Citv of Little Rock,
and is hereby r_ade a part of the 5th Ward of said City.
SECTIOT? 2. That all the streets and roads heretofore dedicated and
shown in the respective plats and bills of assurance now on file in the
office of the Circuit Clerk and Recorder are hereby accepted by the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. in order that the citizens in the affect-
ed area may, be riven adequate fire and police protection br the City
off Little .Rock, an en.er7ency is hereb' declared to exist, and this ordin-
ance shall be in full force and effect fror: and after its passage and
approval.
