ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 8018 passed June 6, 1949
be and the same is hereby amended by adding the f ollowinF:
That the authority for determining the salary to be
drawn by each employee under the sliding scale provision is
hereby vested in the Cite- Health Officer.
Employees now working in said department shall be viven
credit for previous services performed in determining the salary
to be drawn by each.
SECTION 2. That the provisions of this ordinance are here-
b,�-, made retroactive to the date of the passage of Ordinance N o.
SECTION? 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of
this ordinance are -;_ut into effect immediately, the peace, health,
and safety of the citizens of Little Reck will be adversely
affected, therefore, an emergency is hereb<r declared to exist
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
