AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE No. 7849, PASSED JANUARY
T0, 1949; CREATING THE POSITION OF CRANE AND DRAGLINE
OPERATOR IN THE GARBAGE AND SANITATION DEPARTMENT; FIXING
THE SALARY THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7849, passed January 10,
194919 is hereby repealed.
Section 2. The position of Crane and Dragline Operator
is hereby created in the Garbage and Sanitation Department
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 3. The salary for such position shall not
exceed the sum of $215.00 per month, and is hereby fixed
according to the following sliding scale:
Salary for first six months of employment,
$190.00 per month.
Salary at the end of six months employment,
$202.50 per month.
Salary at the end of one years employment,
$215.00 per month.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict hdrewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
