AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR THE PAVING
OF CERTAIN STREETS IN CONNECTION WITH THE RE- PAVING BY THE
CAPITAL TRANSPORTATION COMPANY, AMENDING SECTION 2 OF
ORDINANCES NQ. 7875 PASSED JANUARY 24, 19491 AS ADDED BY

PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Sedtion 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 7875
passed January 24, 1949, as previously amended by Ordinance
No, 8022 passed June 13, 1949, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"The cost of such paving on the part of the
City shall not exceed the sum of $69,000.00, and
it is the intention of the City Council to cause
to be paved from curb to curb the above mentioned
streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas."
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and the paving
provided for above being necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety, this Ordinance shall
be in effect from and after its passage and approval.
