8056V� ORDINANCE No. 8056 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 OF THE OR- DINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AS AMENDED$ BY ZONING CERTAIN TERRITORY RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND PLACING SAID PROPERTY IN THE "A" ONE-FAMILY DISTRICT,.DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK- ANSAS: SECTION 1. All of the territory annexed to the City of Little Rock under the terms of Ordinance No. 8034 passed June 27, 1949 and described as follows: Hollywood Addition to the City of Little Rock, and Kingwood Placd, an Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby placed in the "A" One-Family District under the terms and provisions of Ordinance No. 5420 of the Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, as amended, and henceforth said lands shall be in the "A" One Family District. SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 5420 of the Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, as amended, and the zoning map which is attached thereto and made a part thereof are hereby amended to conform to the provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance. SECTION 3. Because the lands described in Section 1 of this Ordinance may be used for a variety of purposes that are in variance with and hostile to the zoning plans and regulations gov- erning the rest of the City of Little Rock, and because thereby, unrestricted building is permitted that may constitute a fire haz- ard or a hazard to health, and because said lands should be zoned so as to prevent such conditions, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance is f.outLd to be necessary to the public peaee, health and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
