ORDINANCE NO. 8063
AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING ONE TRUCK DRIVER, ONE PAINTER,
AND ONE LABORER FROM THE STREET DEPARTMENT TO THE TRAFFIC
DIVISION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following employees of the Street Division
of the Public Works Department are hereby placed under the super-
vision of the Traffic Division of the Police Department of the
City of Little Rock:
One (1) Truck Driver
One (1) Painter
One (1) Laborer
SECTION 2. The persons filling the above positions have
been performing and will continue work for the Traffic Division
in installing parking signs and painting curbs and are placed
under said division for supervision only in order to promote
efficiency and prevent loss of time and effort.
SECTION 3. The administration.pertaining to such employees
shall remain with the Street Division of the Public Works Depart-
ment of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed; and unless the provisions of
this ordinance are placed into effect immediately the health and
safety of the citizens of the City will be adversely affected,
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this or-
dinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pass-
age and approval.
