AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF
WILSON STREET LYING SOUTS.OF WILTON STREET AND
BBTNEEN BLOM - 10 and 11.03F REMML'S ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARSANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
- V9MUW2 a petition was duly filed with the Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 25 day of July, 1949, asking the City
Council to vacate and abandon all of that portion of the street designated
on the plat of Rommel's Addition to said City now appearing on record in
Plat Book 2, Page 184 in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
being that portion of Wilson Street lying South of the South line of Wilton
Street and between Blocks Ten and Eleven of Rommel's Addition to the City
of Little Rook, Arkansas, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the portion of the
str+si, hereinabove described, has heretofore been dedicated to the Public
use, and has not been used by the public, generally, for a period of at
least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat; as a matter of feet,
the stroot has never been used by the public generally, that all the ownws
of the property abutting upon the portion of the street to be vacated have '
filed with the council their written consent . to such abandonment; and that
not
the public interest and welfare will4be adversely affected by the abandon-
meat of such portions of the said street.
NOW THMMORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1 The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
Vacate* and abandons all its righta,.together with the rights of the public
gen 4111, in and to the portion of Wilson Street in said City designated
as fellows:
All that portion of Wilson Street shown on the plat of
Rommel's Addition to the City of Little Rook lying South
of the South line of Wilton Street and between Blocks 10
and 11 in Rommel's Addition to the City of Little Rook.

SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance duly, Certified by the City
Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County and
recorded in the Deed Records of the County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and /in force from
and after its passage,
