AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PURCHASE ASPHALT
AS NEEDED BY THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK WHILE THE ASPHALT PLANT IS BEING REPLACED; AUTHORIZ-
ING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE,
TAKE BIDSFOR AND SELL ONE (1) OBSOLETE ASPHALT DRYER, AND
F OR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT O "EDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author-
ized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
asphalt, as needed, by the Street Department of the City of
Little Rock while the asphalt plant is being replaced, not to
exceed a period of longer than one. (1) month.
SECTION 2. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby author-
ized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and sell one
(1) asphalt dryer which has now becom obsolete and.is of no
use to the City and is to be replaced by a new one.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
