AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SEWER IMPROVEIr1E\TT
DISTRICT NO. 125 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.

WHEREAS, Parties claiming to be more than two- thirds in
value as shown by t^e last county assessment of the property
, located within the territory hereinafter described have filed a
petition praying that an improvement district be established for
the purpose hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by more than two - thirds in value, as shown
by the last county assessment, of the owners of real property
situated within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDANINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 12, Block
4, Tuxedo Extension Addition to the City of Little
Rock, thence north along the west line of said Block
4, to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 4, of
said Tuxedo Extension Addition; thence north to the
southwest corner of Lot 25, Block 3, Tuxedc Park
Addition to the City of Little Rock; thence north
along the west line of said Block 3 to the northwest
corner of Lot 1, Block 3, of said Tuxedo 'ark
Addition; thence east along the south line of East
Twenty -Ninth Street to the east line of Cumberland
Street; thence north to the northwest corner of Pettiferts
Extension Addition to the City of Little Rock; thence
east along the north line of said Pettiferts Extension
Addition to the northeast corner of Lot 4, Block 1,

of said Pettifer's Extension Addition; thence
south along the east line of said Lot 4, Block 1,
to the southeast corner of said Lot 4, Block 1; thence
west to the northeast corner of Lot 14 of Mary Ann
Addition to the City of Little Rock; thence south
along the east line of said Lot 14 to the southeast
corner of said Lot 14; thence south to the northeast
corner of Lot 25 of said Mary Ann Addition; thence
south along the east line of said Lot 25 to the
southeast corner of said Lot 25; thence south a
distance of three hundred seventy feet (3701); thence
west a distance of one hundred fifty feet (1500 to the
east line of Cumberland Str =et as extended south; thence
along the east line of Cumberland Street as extended
south to the north right-of-way line of the Chicago
Rock Island and Pacific Railway; thence southwestwardly
along the said north right-of-way line of the Chicago
Rock Island and Pacific Railway to the point of beginning.
for the purpose of constructing a system of sewers for the use of
the inhabitants of said district, to make such changes in any sewers
in the district heretofore laid, as may be essential, and to dispose
of the sewage by connections with sewer mains heretofore constructed
within or beyond the limits of the district; all to be located and
constructed in the places and in the manner and of the materials
that the commissioners of the said district shall deem for the best
interests thereof.
Said District shall be known. as Sewer Improvement District
No. of Little Rock, Arkansas; and A. P. Gold, W. S. Thomas,
and Ed Martin are hereby named Commissioners, who shall compose the
Board of Improvement for said District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
