8099ORDINANCE NO. 8099. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6760, PROVIDIA?G THAT ALL SITES FOR TENTS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CHIEF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; THAT SUCH SITES SHALL BE FREE FROM ALL GRASS, WEEDS, AND ANY OTHER COMBUSTIBLE MATER- IAL, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 6760, passed April 9, 1945, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the follow- ing section: Section 10. Before any tent covered by the provisions of this ordinance is erected within the City of Little Rock, the site where such erection is to be made must be approved by the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Little Rock. Before any site is approved it must be free of any and all grass, weeds, rubbish, or any other combustible material or trash. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this ordinance are put into effect immediately, the peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Little Rock shall be adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
