AN ORDINANCE ESTA1B21,ISHING SEWER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT N0. 6 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, Parties claiming to be more than two - thirds in
value as shown by the last county assessment of the property
located within the territory hereinafter described have filed a
petition praying that an improvement district be established for
the purpose hereinafter set out; and
WHERAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by more than two - thirds in value, as shown
by the last county assessment, of the owners of real property
situated within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby'established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock:
Beginning at the intersection of the north property
line of the alley between Asher Avenue and West 30th
Street projected to the intersection with the west
property line of Elm Street; thence northeasterly along
the north property line of the said alley to its inter-
section with the east property line of Pine Street;
thence south along the east property line of Pine Street
to its intersection with the south line of the Arkansas
State Penitentiary property; thence east along the south
line of the Arkansas State Penitentiary property to its
intersection with the west property line of Maple Street;
thence north along the west property line of Maple Street

to its intersection with the south property line of
Roosevelt Road; thence east along the south property
line of Roosevelt Road to its intersection with the east
property line of Brown Street; thence south along the
east property line of Brown Street to its intersection
with the north right -of -way line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad spur tracks; thence west, northwest and south-
west along the north right -of -way line of the Missouri
Pacific spur track to its intersection with the west
property line of Elm Street; thence north along the
west property line of Elm Street to the point of
beginning,
for the purpose of constructing a system of sewers for the use of
the inhabitants of said district, to make such changes in any sewers
in the district heretofore laid, as may essential, and to dispose
of the sewage by connections with sewer mains heretofore constructed
within or beyond the limits of the district; all to be located and
constructed in the places and in the manner and of the materials
that the commissioners of the said district shall deem for the best
interests thereof.
Said District shall be known as Sewer Improvement District
No. 126 of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Joe N. Smith
Carol D. Smith and Fred R. Prioleau are hereby
named Commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement for
said District.
SEUTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
