ORDINANCE N0. 8233
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND
PURCHASE ONE CARLOAD OF CREOSOTED PINE POLES FOR
USE BY THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase one carload
(approximately 125) 30 Foot Class 7 creosoted pine poles, for use by
the Electric Department of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The cost of such poles as described in Section 1
hereof shall not exceed the sum of $1,250.00.
SECTION 3• All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
