ORDINANCE No. 8234
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE PARRS AND RE-
CREATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINE+Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKARSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby auth-
orized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and pur-
chase a tractor with sickle bar and gang mower attachments
for use by the Parks Maintenance Division of the Parks and
Recreation Department. The cost of such equipment shall not
exeeed the sum of $2,500.00.
SECTION 2. The Board of Public Affairs is further
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and
purchase the following items for use by the Parks and Re-
creation Department at the Municipal Golf Course:
16 metal lockers, not to exceed $200.00; 5 tee mats, not
to exceed $90.00; a hydro -mixer spray, not to exceed $113.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its pass-
age and approval.
