AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND LET
A CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION A1gD /OR PURCHASE RE-
CREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE NEGRO PARK ACCORDING
TO THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY BRUCE
ANDERSON, ARCHITECT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
AFdWSAS :
SECTION 1. The Board of public Affairs is hereby authoriz-
ed and directed to advertise, take bids for, and award a contract
for the construction and /or purchase of recreational facilities
for the Negro Park, according to the plans and specifications
prepared by Bruce Anderson, Architect.
SECTION 2. The construction and /or purchase of such re-
creational facilities shall be paid for out of the Negro Park
Construetibm',Fund.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
