RESOLUTION NO. 13,620
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
AMEND AN EXISTING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE ARKANSAS
HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT (AHTD); AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1986, the City entered into a Lease Agreement with the Arkansas Highway
and Transportation Department (AHTD) to lease AHTD property under the Interstate 30 off -ramp bridge
for public parking in the area of Commerce and 2 "d Streets; and,
WHEREAS, Entergy Arkansas, Inc. ( "Entergy "), needs to place an electrical transformer and
switchgear in the area covered by the aforementioned Lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute the attached amendment to the lease
agreement with AHTD which will release a portion of the property leased to the City to allow Entergy to
place an electric transformer and switchgear on the property.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
