Aid ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROV12111ENT
DISTRICT NO. 586 _ OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be tree owners of more than two-
thirds in assessed value of the real property located within the
k, territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that
an improvement district be established for the purpose hereinafter
set out; and
'JIIEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signedby more than two - thirds in assessed value of the owners of
real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the C ity of Little
Rocks: Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 10 and 11, in Block 2, of Winifred Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 13 to 24, inclusive in Block 8, of
Chesterfield Square, an Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
All of Block 1;
Lots 1. to 9, inclusive, and Lots 16, 17 and 18,
of .6lock 2;
All of fractional Block 3;
All of fractional Block 4;
All in Gallagher's Addition No. 3 to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Bogard Court, an Addition
to the C ity of Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of paving, in such a manner and with such materials
as the commissioners to be elected for the said improvement district
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, the following
parts of the following streets in the C ity of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to -wit:
BROWN STREET from the south property line of West
22nd Street in a southerly direction to a point
approximately opposite Lots 16 and 17, in Block 8,
of Chesterfield Square, an Addition to Little Rock,
thence in a southeasterly direction to the northwest
property line of Asher Avenue ; and

VVEST 23RD STREET from the east property line of
Brown Street to the southwest property line of
Allis Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and

liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District

are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of
Improvement for said district.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
