ORDINANCE NO. 8L05
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CURB AND GUTTER
INIPROVE1JENT DISTRICT NO. r8 _ OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
VIHEREAS, parties claiming to be the oviners of more than
i two- thirds in assessed value of the real property located within
t
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose herein-
after set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of the owners
of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. 'there is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the C ity of Little
Hock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 10 and 11, in Block 2, of �,Vinifred Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 13 to 24, inclusive, in Block BY of
Chesterfield Square, an Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
All of Block 1;
Lots 1 to 91 inclusive, and Lots 16, 17 and 18,
of Block 2;
All of fractional Block 3;
All of fractional Block 4;
All in Gallagher's Addition No. 3 to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Bogard Court, an Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing and guttering, in
such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners to be
elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be for the
best interest of said district, the following parts of the following
streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:

BROWN STREET from the south property line of Jest
22nd Street in a southerly direction to a point
approximately opposite Lots 16 and 17, in Block S,
of Chesterfield Square, an Addition to Little Rock,
thence in a southeasterly direction to the northwest
property line of Asher Avenue; and
WEST 23RD STREET from the east property line of
trDwn Street to the southwest property line of
Allis Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and charged
upon the real property above described, provided the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Curb and Gutter Improvement
District No. K87 , and �� F. tWOWIV//16'

are hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of
Improvement for said district.
SECTIOF 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
