AN ORDINANCE RELEASING, V.LCATING AND ABANDONING
THE PLATTED ALLEY I'TIT BLOCK 18, OF CENTENNIAL
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
tIUHERFAS, a petition was duly filed with the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the llthday
of September, 1950, asking the city council to vacate and aban-
don all that portion of the alley designated on the plat of
Block 18, of Centennial Addition to the City of Little Rock,
,Arkansas, now appearing of record in Deed Book G -3, Page 256,
in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, be-
ginning at ;Vest Fourteenth Street,and ending at u'lest Fifteenth
Street; and
AS, after dike notice as required by law, the
council has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the alley, hereinbefore described, has hereto-
:fore been dedicated to the public use as an alley herein,.deseribed ;,
has not been actually used by the public generally for a period
of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to
be vacated have filed with the council their written consent to
such abandonment; and that public interest and welfare will not
be adversely affected by the abandonment of such alley.
NOIN THE' ?','FORE, be it ordained b-J the city council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together with
the rights of the public generally, in and to the alley desig-
nated as follows;
The alley designated on the plat of Block 18, Centen-
nial Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
now appearing of record in Deed Book G -3, Page 256,
in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Ark-
ansas, beginning at rJest Fourteenth Street and ending
at West Fifteenth Street.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified
by the City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be filed in

the office of the Recorder of-- Pulaski County, Arkansas, and re-
corded in the Deed Records of said County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
