AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SPECIAL TRAFFIC JUDGE
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO ATTEND A CONFERENCE
OF THE NATIO1:3AL SAFETY COUNCIL TO BE HELD Iii
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS ON OCTOBER 15, 1950, AUTHORIZING
THE PAYWN T OF T E EXPMT SES THEREFOR NOT TO -EXCEED
THE SUM OF 0200.00, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
.1, ARSAS
SECTION 1. J. Fred Jones, who is serving as Special
Traffic Judge of the City of Little Rock, is hereby authorized
to attend a conference of the National Safety Council to be
held in Chicago, Illinois on October 159 1950.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the
general fund sufficient money to cover the expenses of said
J. Fred Jones in attending said conference, not to exceed the
sum of $200.00.
SECTION 3. The proper city officials are hereby auth-
orized and directed to- execute such instruments as may be
necessary in order to carry out the provisions of this ordin-
ance.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
