8507+� ORDINANCE NO $507. AN ORDINANCE TO AP.'7ND THE DEFINITION OF GRADE A. PASTEURIZED MILK AS DEFINED IN SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE 7023; TO DEFINE GRADE A PLANT MILK AND PROVIDE; THE RE(, U IRE1,ENTS THERE' OR f , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARMTSAS , I SECTION 1. The definition of Grade A Pasteurized Milk as defined in Section 7 of Ordinance No. 7023 is hereby amended to read as follows: Grace A Pasteurized Milk is Grade A raw Milk and /or Grade A Plant Milk which has been pasteurized, cooled and bottled in a milk plant conform- ing with all the following items of sanitation and maintaining an average sanitary rating of not less than ninety per cent (90 per cent) based upon the rating method used by the U. S. Public Health Service, and the average bacterial plate count of which at no time after pas- teurization or until delivery exceeds 30,000 per cubic centimeter. SECTION 2. Grade A Plant Milk is milk the average bacterial count of which does not exceed 200,000 per cubic centimeter, and which is produced on dairy farms conforming with all requirements and items of sanitation of Grade B raw milk as given in Section 7 of Ordinance No. 7023 and in addition thereto all requirements as given in Section 3 of Ordinance No. 8283 pertaining to dairy barns, walls and ceilings, cow yards, milk houses or rooms. SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed; and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect sixty (60) days after its passage and approval. SECTION 4. Unconstitutionality Clause. Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of said ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
