AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT PORTION Or' ORDINANCE NO. 7444 ESTABLISHING AN
ANNUAL PRIVILEGE TAX FOR LINEN AND TOWEL SUPPLY COMPANIES AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES ;AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK., ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That part of Section lA of Ordinance No. 7444 of
the ordinances of the City of Little Rock, passed on October 27th, 19472
pertaining to Linen and Towel Supply Companies is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Linen and Towel Supply Companies — ?100.00 per year,
or 410.00 per trick, whichever amount is greater.
SEC111ON 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this Ordinance
are put into effect immediately, the public health, peace and safety of
the citizens of Little Hock will be adversely affected, therefore, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
