THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK *A.R 43,A= FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Wherea:s,more than two - thirds in value of the property holders own-
ing property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in
Street Improvement District No. 584,organised for the purpose of
hard - surfacing that.portion of Lewis Street from 8th,to IIth,Street,
ve J boned the City Council -ef the gi ty of Little Rook, Arkansas,
citetioa of said i®proiement,and that the asoe thes ,< 3'-
shall be assessed upon the real property of said District according
to the benefits received;and,
Whereas,said benefits received by each and every block,lot and parcel
of real es to to si tua ted in said Din trio t equals or exceeds I the loowl
assessment thereon;and,
Nhereas,the estimated cost of said improvement is $16,493.59 =

SECTION I. That said several blocks, to is and parcels of real prop-
erty. in said District be assessed according to the assessment list fw-
said Improvement District as the same now remains in the office of the
City Clerk, in Little Roo:k,Arkansas,and that Five per aentum of the
assessment of each of said blocks ,lots and parcels shall be collected
by the County C,pllee tor, of Pulaski founty,Arkansas, on or before the

becoming due more than five (5) months thereafter and annually there-
after with the first installment of general taxes until the whole of
said local assessment shall be paid.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
