AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING THAT PORTION OF MAPLE STREET
BETWEEN EIGHTEENTH STREET AND THE EAST BOUNDARY OF THE STEPHENS
SCHOOL BUILDING; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
! WHEREAS, the Little Rock School District is the owner
Ify� off` property on the East and West sides of Maple Street bet eeri
Seventeenth and Eighteenth Street, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of said District to expand
the existing buildings to include part of said street, and
WHEREAS, the closing of Maple Street will not affect
the health and safety of the property owners in the vicinity;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Maple Street extending
from the North boundary of Eighteenth Street to a point parallel
1 with the North boundary of the St.e79he s School building is hereby__ S
closed and abandoned by the City of Little Rock as a public
thoroughfare.
SECTION 2. That the title to the said street shall
hereby revert to the adjacent property owners according to the
laws of the State of Arkansas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
