AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE
f BIDS FOR, AND PURCHASE TWO (2) STREET SWEEPERS
FOR USE BY THE CITY STREET CLEANING DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
IT IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and directed to advertise, take bids
for,.and purchase two (2) street sweepers for use by
the Street Gleaning Department of the City of Little
r
Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The cost of such street sweepers,
with trade -in allowances on four (4) city -owned street
sweepers described as three (3) Austin - Western Patrols
and one (1) Austin- Western Model No. 40, being sweeper
No. X -77, shall not exceed the 'sum of Fifteen Thousand;
Dollars,($15,000.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
