AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET IMPROVETvIENT DISTRICT NO. 590
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than two- thirds
in assessed value of the property located within the territory hereinafter
described have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be
established for the purposes hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring to be heard
and has ascertained that said petition was signed by more than two - thirds
in assessed value of the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement district
embracing the following described property in the City of Little Rock,
County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 7, inclusive, Block 1; Lot 6, Block 2; Lots 1 to 6,
inclusive, Block 7; all of Block 8; Lots 1, 2, and 10 and East
46 -2/3 feet of Lots 3, 4, and 5. Block 9; Lot 1, Block 10; all
in Hollenberg's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Part of Lots 19 2, and 3, described as beginning at Northeast
corner of Block 49, thence West along north line of said block
50 feet, thence south 62.7 feet, thence east 74 feet, thence
northwesterly along the west line of Kavanaugh Boulevard 50
feet to the point of beginning; part of Lots 3 and 4, described
as beginning at a point on the north line of Lot 3, Block 49,
fifty feet west of northeast corner of said block, thence west
along the north line of said block 742 feet to the northwest
corner of Lot 4, thence south on line between Lots 4 and 5
seventy -five feet, thence east 75.07 feet, thence north 75 feet
to point of beginning; North 100 feet of Lots 5 and 6; and Lots
7 and 8; all in Block 49, Pulaski Heights Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, the west one -half of Lot 7, and part of
Lots 72 8, and 9, described as beginning at the southeast corner
of Block 50, thence north along the east line of the block 41 feet,
thence west 131.5 feet, south 44 feet to the south line of the
block, thence easterly along the south line of the block to the
point of beginning, all in Block 50; and all of Block 51, Pulaski
Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
for the purpose of making local improvements therein by grading, draining,
curbing, guttering and paving, in such a manner and with such materials as
the Commissioners to be selected for the said improvement district shall
deers to be for the best interest of said district, the following parts of
the following streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Tyler Street from the north side of "K" Street to the south side of
"J" Street; Harrison Street from the south side of "L" Street to the north

side of "I" Street; "K" Street from the west side of Kavanaugh Boulevard
to the west side of Tyler Street (excluding intersections of Tyler and
Harrison Streets); and "J" Street from the west side of Kavanaugh Boulevard
to the west side of Tyler Street (excluding intersections of Tyler and
Harrison Streets ;and that the cost thereof be assessed and charged upon
the real property hereinbefore described.
Said
district shall
be
known
as Street
Improvement District No. 590
and Wayne
C. Fletcher, T.
H.
Linn,
and Fred
Adair are hereby named Com-
missioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
