AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF A FRANCHISE TO PLACE ARTISTIC
ADVERTISING BENCHES ALONG CERTAIN STREET CAR AND BUS ROUTES IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7452; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TTTE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the franchise as granted by Ordinance
No. 7452, passed November 10, 194 7, for the placing of artistic
advertising benches along certain street car and bus routes in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby extended and renewed for a
period of ten (10) years from the present expiration thereof.
SECTION 2. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 7452 is hereby amended
to provide for a fee to be paid to the City of Little Rock of Two
($2.00) Dollars per year for each bench placed upon any street car
route or bus route in the City, said franchise otherwise than herein
provided to be granted under the same terms and conditions as contained
in said Ordinance No. 7452.tt' "'
SECTION 3.. That an option to renew this contract at the
expiration hereof for an additional ten (10) year period, at a fee to
be determined by the City of Little Rock is hereby granted.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
